Having cameras in your short term rental property mean more than just adding safety to your real estate. There are a lot of Airbnb hosts that live far from their properties, or have jobs that don’t allow them to be onsite all the time. In those situations a camera can help hosts keep an eye on their property while they’re away to see who’s coming and going, enhance the customer experience and ocasionally help hosts with Airbnb Resolution disputes. As a final note, take into account that these are not meant to provide a complete surveillance solution to your property. If you want to dial up on your security, a Wired POE camera system is the way to go.
